 1 year in LETI: I finished my first year of studies, but for some weird reason decided to go to another university - Baltic State Technical University ("Voenmekh"). There vere some imaginary benifits in moving there, but now they seem to weird to being told :).

I've studied the Control Systems - electronics. And never worked as a Field Engineer of Electronics... but my knowledge of control systems helped me during my professional life.

In the beginning of 1993 in age of 22 I've immigratted to Israel.
 After first years of acclimatization and accomodation passed away, life became much better. So when Israel Army (Israeli Defense Force (ZAHA"L)) called me for a service, I was prepared :).
I've served as a secretary in a "hot point" named Hebron area, in coordination office with Palestinians (DCO).

 When I've released from the regular army service, I've decided to clean my ming from a rust, caused by army :)
Computer Science, Master Degree.
My diploma deals with crawling over the internet. I had had to learn on some reasonable level UNIX, Perl, HTML/DHTML, Java, javascript, VB...

1996-1997

 Work and study is common practice in Israel.
This company happened to be my first decent job place in Israel. It was really important to me, especially after a brain cleaner, called Army.
Many thanks to Ronen Boneh, Eyal Sapir and Yahali Theodor.
I worked there as a GUI programmer (for Win95/NT, MSVC), developed some graphics algorithms with control systems in mind. The knowledge, earned in Baltic State Mechanical University helped me a lot.

 I am 26 here. I've started working in Comverse Network Systems,( a division of Comverse Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMVT) and the world's leading supplier of enhanced services platforms to communication network operators) .
As a programmer and a team lead I had a deal with internals of Windows NT, C++, COM, CORBA, ACE (Adaptive Computing Environment), RogueWave, CASE....
Here were: Performance measurements, Distributed system's Control, DB control, High availability problems, RAIDs, NT drivers...and A LOT of documentation works.

Here's the photo from winter 99 (I am 28).
 RichFX (formerly WebGlide). Job for only 3 months since crisis hit them in the end of 1999, so their office in Israel was closed...and I was not ready to move to USA.
Their technology allows complex, highly textured, fully interactive content to be streamed to users over dial-up modem connections.
Here I worked on mp3 streaming, plugins for IExplorer and Netscape.
Technologies? Same stuff: Windows 2000/NT/98, C++, COM, Perl, ASP.
At October 6, 1999, I've been married to Julia Plotkin (divorced in 2004).

2000 - the year of NASDAQ fall

 I'm Project leader for some US based e-banking project in E-Business division of ElronTelesoft (The E-Business Division markets and sells its applications and solutions to corporate entities, profit-driven institutions, banks, and other financial institutions that want flexible, reliable, customer friendly, and secure e-commerce delivery networks and full branch automation systems. ELRON TELESOFT' solution has also been integrated into many commercial enterprises that seek secure e-commerce systems.)
This project was closed because of bankrupcy of the subcontractor and some of customers. It was the beginning of the NASDAQ's fall :-(.
Thus, back to coding: D-COM, C++ and a little bit of ASP, but huge amount of configuration work and interactions with clients.
 In the end of july 2001, the E-Business division of ElronTelesoft was earned by Forsoft, one of companies of The Formula Group (now it is MATRIX-IT).
But NASDAQ fall ruined the my whole department too.
For the first time in my life I'm unemployed for a long period of time.

After almost a year of hard work we had to close our company.

 The project, I was involved in GAT Systems was declared as "top secret". I tried to get some apropriate clearence but failed.
Eventually there were several different project (connected to Processors development process). So here Intel and Nova were involved and I had an opportunity of visiting Dublin (and Leixlipp) several times.
Good team, interesting work... but I'm planning to move to Ukraine, Kiev; promote my personal life.
